These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Miggy (“the App”), operated by Zhiliang Chen (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital age in your jurisdiction) to use the App. By using it, you confirm you meet this requirement.
2. Your account
The App uses Sign in with Apple for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID and for activity that occurs under your account.
3. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with the Apple App Store Terms of Service. This licence does not allow you to resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the App.
4. Your content
Content you create remains yours. It is stored in your own iCloud account via Apple’s CloudKit. You are solely responsible for your content and for keeping your own backups. We do not access, monitor, or control this content and accept no responsibility for its loss.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, except where permitted by law.
- Interfere with or disrupt the App or its supporting services.
- Use the App to infringe anyone’s rights.
6. Subscriptions
The App is free to download and offers an auto-renewing subscription to unlock its full features.
- Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID upon confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal: Your subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Managing and cancelling: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then.
- Processing: Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store and managed via RevenueCat, each under their own terms.
- Refunds: All sales are final except where required by law. Refunds are handled solely by Apple in accordance with Apple’s refund policy; we cannot issue refunds directly.
7. Third-party services
The App relies on third-party services including Apple (iCloud, Sign in with Apple, App Store in-app purchases), RevenueCat (subscription management), Google Firebase, and PostHog. Your use of these is subject to their respective terms, and we are not responsible for their actions or availability.
8. Intellectual property
All rights in the App itself, including its design, branding, and code (excluding your content and third-party components), belong to Zhiliang Chen.
9. Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. As an independent side project, the App may change, pause, or be discontinued at any time.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zhiliang Chen will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months (which, for a free app, is typically zero).
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time and request deletion of your account by emailing [email protected].
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
